He has been immersed in the horse industry since birth, spending his life roping and training horses. He lives and breathes the western lifestyle, and his deep connection to this world inspires every hat he creates. With an eye for craftsmanship, Ricky makes and shapes each custom cowboy hat from start to finish, ensuring every detail is perfect.
When he’s not training horses or crafting hats, you can find him in the barn with his beautiful wife, Jackie, tending to their horses or training their new puppy, Kayah.

Emilie is the creative force behind Double Rye Hat Co.'s clothing designs, photography, and social media.
With over 7 years of experience in graphic design and photography, she has an eye for detail and a passion for bringing the western lifestyle to life through visual storytelling. When she’s not behind the camera or designing, Emilie can be found riding horses or attending local rodeos with her boyfriend or taking her German Shorthaired Pointer named Remington down some trails.
Her love for the western way of life, combined with her creative expertise, ensures that Double Rye stays authentic and relatable.
